Amarnath Land – An ECO dispute or EGO dispute?

The situation at Jammu and Kashmir is becoming critical day by day. I would like to share my percept on the Issue:

A Hindu says

Dispute is over the land provided to the Amarnath Shrine board for provisioning better infrastructure and facilities to the thousands who walk the tedious stretch every year to witness the “Shiva Linga”.

How can the government revoke its decision by succumbing to the Muslim Community? We will show them our strength and the government would have to give in. It’s a dispute over a land size of just 100 acres.

Amarnath is an important pilgrimage site for all HINDUS and we Hindus would settle for no less than 100 acres. We Hindus had been pursuing the matter for so many years now and would not let go off it so easily.

A Muslim says

How can they allot 100 acres of Forest Land for such a purpose? How can we ignore the ecological imbalance it would cause to our KASHMIR? We would not let them have the land and put our KASHMIR’s ecology and natural beauty to peril.

It is simple disgusting that the Governor of J&K acted irresponsibly and in haste to provide the land. It was important for the J&K govt. to revoke the decision which was against the people of KASHMIR.

I say

Create an ECO-friendly Infrastructure on the land that was provided to Amarnath Shrine Board.
